About Raging Opossum Press
Raging Opossum Press is a publishing house and press highlighting the local and DIY art in Chicago, IL (though we're happy to be apart of the national and global artist community that any creative is naturally apart of.) Raging Opossum Press is dedicated to the ideas of community and the wonders of sharing art with one another, and strives to do that regularly by showing off different artists through publications, interviews, or our newsletter which shares and discusses a variety of different art events, shows, and whatever else around Chicago. We welcome all creatives of all mediums. Reach out if you have art to share, and subscribe to our newsletter by making a account to keep up to date on events we're hosting or art news around the city.

The scariest movie he has ever seen is Final Destination 2 (the car one).
Lane Lake
He/Him
Website Designer
Lane Lake is a software engineer based in chicago. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Lane Lake came to Chicago due to his love for public transportation, disdain for traffic (he no longer drives), and need for something different. Since arriving here, he has fallen in love with the community aspects of the city and how they intersect with the music scene. He does freelance website design around the Chicago area, and you can contact him @bigbrainlanetrain on Instagram for work.
Sam Tucker
He/Him
Creative Director, Photo Journalist
Sam Tucker is a freelance photojournalist based in Chicago who strives to make pictures exciting in nature, and graphic in quality. He loves the energetic and chaotic nature of people, whether it’s reporting on the edge of a protest, or front row at a ear-bleeding, shoulder-to-shoulder live show. When Sam isn’t on the clock at Raging Opossum or freelancing stories on the West Side, he’s walking Michigan Avenue - camera in hand - capturing the beautiful chaos that emerges from thousands of people that fill the busy downtown area of Chicago. Black and white photographs, movement, and firing from the hip are keys to his photographic style. His favorite book is Hell's Angels: A Strange and Terrible Saga, by Hunter S. Thompson. He is always inspired by street photography greats like Bruce Gilden and Garry Winogrand. He aims to make a place for himself in our highly visual world. Sam’s midwestern roots have created an unabated love for cheese curds.
